Russ began his career in the construction business as a teenager working for his uncle during summer breaks. After graduation he became employed full time for Wiley Reed Construction also of Woodbury. After several years he decided to pursue a career in the insurance industry but after 7 years he knew that he wanted to return to contracting. His daily goal is customer satisfaction and quality workmanship. He is involved with each and every project and visits each job site to ensure these goals are achieved.
Russ and Reita have 2 children, Kyle and Amy.
Kyle and his wife Shannon and son Jonas and Elijah live in Clemson, South Carolina. Kyle is an Associate Professor at Clemson University. Shannon is a Landscape Historian/Architect. Amy and her husband Rob live in Shelbyville, TN where she works as an Ophthalmic Technician for Dr. Boone and Dr. Drowota in Murfreesboro at MMC, and Rob is a Data Analyst for Verizon Wireless in Murfreesboro. Russ is the Past President of the South Central Home Builders Association of Tennessee and the Past President of the Tullahoma Downtown Lions Club.
